Template Terms & Conditions Last updated: April 30, 2026

These terms apply to all Framer templates sold by Insert Frame (insertframe.io). By purchasing a template, you agree to these terms.

1. Who we are

Insert Frame is a Framer ecosystem company based in Australia. We build plugins, tools, and templates for the Framer community. For questions about these terms, contact us at account@insertframe.io.

2. License types

When you purchase a template, you're buying a license to use it - not ownership of the template itself. The license type you purchased determines what you can do with it.

Standard License You may use the template for one end project, either for yourself or for a single client. The end project can be a live website, but the template files cannot be resold, redistributed, or reused for additional projects.

Unlimited License You may use the template across multiple projects and clients without restriction on the number of end uses. You still cannot resell or redistribute the template files themselves.

Set Up For You In addition to the Unlimited License terms, this tier includes one-time setup assistance from our team. Setup is scoped to the template as delivered and doesn't include custom development beyond initial configuration.

3. What you can do

Regardless of license type, you may:

• Remix and modify the template in Framer to suit your project

• Use the template to build a live website or client site (within your license scope)

• Customise fonts, colours, content, and layout as needed

4. What you can't do

You may not:

• Resell, redistribute, or share the template files with anyone who hasn't purchased a license

• Use the template to create a competing template product or sell derivative template products

• Claim the template as your own original work

• Transfer your license to another person or business without our written consent

5. Intellectual property

All templates remain the intellectual property of Insert Frame. Purchasing a license gives you the right to use the template as described above, not to own or transfer the underlying design or code.

Third-party assets included in templates (fonts, icons, images) are subject to their own licenses. We only include assets that permit use in commercial projects, but it's your responsibility to verify this for your specific use case.

6. Refund policy

Because templates are digital products delivered immediately on purchase, our refund policy reflects the nature of what you're buying.

When refunds are available

We'll issue a refund if the template has a critical bug that prevents it from working as described, and our support team is unable to resolve it within a reasonable timeframe. Please contact us first and give us the chance to fix the issue.

We may also consider a refund if you contact us within 14 days of purchase and haven't yet remixed the template into your Framer workspace.

When refunds aren't available

We don't issue refunds if:

• The template has been remixed or modified in Framer. Once duplicated into your workspace, the product is considered delivered.

• The template functions as described and meets the advertised specifications.

• You changed your mind, purchased by mistake, or decided it wasn't the right fit after buying.

• You don't have the skills to customise it - we offer support to help you get set up.

How to request a refund

Email account@insertframe.io with your order number and a description of the issue. We respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 7-10 business days to your original payment method.

7. Support

All templates include basic support for setup questions and bug reports. Support doesn't cover custom development, design changes beyond the template scope, or third-party integrations not included in the original template.

Support is provided on a reasonable efforts basis and is not guaranteed within a specific timeframe, though we aim to respond to all requests within 2 business days.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Insert Frame is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of a template, including loss of data, revenue, or business opportunity.

Our total liability to you for any claim related to a template purchase will not exceed the amount you paid for that template.

9. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If a product has a major failure - meaning it doesn't do what it's supposed to do - you're entitled to a refund regardless of the above. We'll always honour your statutory rights.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your purchase is the version in effect on the date you bought it. We'll publish any changes on this page with an updated date.
