Import your Shopify custom metadata fields to manage content directly in Framer from Shopify or use them for advanced features like product grouping, upsell suggestions, and colour variations.

Creating & Using a New Metafield on Shopify

1. From your Shopify dashboard, click “Settings,” then “Metafields & Metadata”.

2. Click “Products” and then “Add Definition.”

3. Configure as needed, including a unique namespace key (identifier), and click “Save.”

4. Go to your product detail page, scroll to the “Product Metafields” section, and assign the metafield/s.

Syncing Your Metafields in Framer

1. In Shopify, copy the namespace key exactly that you wish to import into Framer.

2. In the CMS, open Frameship ('Manage'), and scroll to the Shopify Metafields section.

3. Click “Add Metafield” and paste the namespace key.

   1. Tip: the namespace key has two parts. Place the first in 'Namespace' and the second in 'Key'.
