How to Style Map Markers in Framer

Element: Marker

The marker is the pin that shows up on the map for each of your points.

Turn it on/off and set it up under Elements → Marker.

Setup

  • Enabled - show or hide markers.

  • Type - choose Icon (a custom image/icon) or Label (a text pill showing a data field).

Icon type

  • Icon - the image used as the marker.

  • Shadow - an optional shadow image placed under the icon.

  • Icon size / Shadow size - width and height.

Label type

  • Field - which data field to display in the label (must match a field Name exactly - see Manual Data Source).

  • Prefix / Suffix - text added before/after the field value (e.g. "$" or "/night").

  • Font, Text, Fill, Border, Radius, Padding, Shadow, Max width - styling for the label pill.

  • Hover - how the label changes on hover (Scale, Background, Text, Border, Transition).

Demo Marker

Turning on Demo Marker shows a placeholder marker on the Framer canvas only, so you can style it even without real data connected. It never shows up on your published site.
