We rebuilt Frameship from the ground up so it is robust & super functional, so if you had an existing store that was built before November 2025, you may need to migrate to Frameship 2.0 components if you are experiencing functionality issues. This will have no additional cost to you.

1. Firstly, remove all existing Frameship 1.0 components from your project.

Your plugin will notify you if you have old components in the project. When you log in, a error message will appear “You are using old components.” Follow the steps to delete them.

1. Insert all new components directly from the plugin onto your pages and connect the Shopify data.

2. Make sure you are only using 2.0 components. If you have a mix of 1.0 and 2.0 components in your project, they are not compatible with each other and will not function correctly.

NOTE: Please be aware that no further updates or support will be available for 1.0 past December 17th, 2025, and if Framer pushes any further updates, this may break some functionality.
